- To finish off my image re-creation, I first started off by editing the most important things which were the flower and the leaves. I did not have the exact flower, so I had to improvise. I was able to use my object selection tool to copy the leaves on my inspo photo and put them into my image. I had to layer the leaves, so it looked more realistic. From there, I used my selection tool again and edited the flower by itself to put the saturation up to make the flower pop in the photo. Once I did that, I layered the book, and I was able to edit that as well to make it darker and look older like my inspo photo looked. When I completed the individual edits, I moved onto the whole photo and used a filter to get the best effect for my photo.

My thoughts behind this photo of surrealism were simply just creativity and imagination. For one, I love animals, and I especially love the zoo so I thought it would be fun to create a photo as if the zoo was pretty much outside of my own school and I was able to create such a photo. My process was not too difficult I was able to move through things pretty quickly. Although I already have some animals in these photos as I show the process, I repeated the same steps for every animal. For step 1, I simply copied a photo from the web and pasted it onto photo shop. Next, I selected the “Object Selection Tool” and selected the animal itself. Once the animal was selected, I then proceeded to make the animal/giraffe a sperate layer and deleted the background layer so that only the giraffe was there. Then, I lastly selected the “Move Object Tool” and placed the animal where I wanted it. I continued to repeat these steps for every animal until it was just how I imagined it.
